This is shaping up to be a great winter season, and we’re feeling the excitement as we head into ski season.

The 2024 legislative elections are bringing forward some important debates, especially regarding the taxation of short-term rentals and vacant homes. There are varied opinions on how to handle these issues, with candidates supporting different approaches to local control and tax strategies. I dive into what some of the key players in Western Slope races have to say, including:

We’re seeing interesting shifts in the market across Summit County. In Breckenridge, houses are slightly in favor of buyers, while condos are more balanced. Dillon and Frisco show slight seller’s markets for homes, while Silverthorne remains a deep buyer's market, offering great opportunities for those looking to purchase.
