Welcome back to The Ski Summit Show! I’m Matt Dayton — Breckenridge native, Olympian, and your guide to mountain real estate.
What's Happening in the Summit?
This week we’re kicking things off in Silverthorne, where the town is hosting a Country Western Dance Night on Friday, October 24. Lessons start at 7 p.m., then open dancing runs until 11. It’s a great way to get out, meet your neighbors, and warm up those boots for winter.
Real Estate News
In real-estate news, Colorado Realtors recently called the current environment a “Buyer’s Market Minus the Buyers.” Sales volume has slowed about 12 percent year over year across the Front Range — and Summit County often follows. The good news: lower interest rates are sparking renewed activity, and sellers are becoming more flexible heading into winter.
Market in a Minute
For this week’s Market in a Minute, we looked at Summit County’s five-year sales trend. The market has stayed mostly flat since late 2022, but prices remain strong in well-kept, well-located properties. Days on market are creeping upward, giving serious buyers a chance to negotiate.
Listing of the Week
Finally, our Listing of the Week is 720 Lakepoint Drive B4 in Frisco — a modern, three-bedroom condo with vaulted ceilings, radiant heat, and updated finishes. Listed at $825K, it’s steps from the Rec Path, shops, and restaurants.
Whether you’re dancing in Silverthorne or exploring investment opportunities in Frisco, now’s a great time to see what Summit County has to offer.
