No More Dillon Eyesore, New Water View Dillon Development
Big changes are coming to Dillon, and for locals who’ve watched the Uptown 240 site sit unfinished for years, this is welcome news.
In this episode of The Ski Summit Show, we take a closer look at Water View Dillon, the new development stepping in to replace what’s long been a visible reminder of a stalled project. Originally tied to a pre-COVID development effort, the site was left incomplete when financing fell apart — leaving behind concrete, rebar, and a lot of unanswered questions for the community.
Now, with a new developer and a viable foundation already in place, this project has real momentum. The plan includes residential units with commercial space on the lower level — something Dillon has needed for a long time. More restaurants, more walkability, and more reasons for people to spend time in town.
From a real estate perspective, projects like this matter. They don’t just improve how a town looks — they support property values, help local businesses survive, and create long-term confidence in the market.
We also covered:
- What’s happening in Summit County, including Frisco Wax Nights at Highside Brewing
- A Market in a Minute update showing where buyer and seller leverage sits right now
- This week’s featured listing: 930 Blue River Parkway in Silverthorne, a riverfront condo with short-term rental potential
If you’re curious about where Dillon is headed — or how changes like this affect buying and investing in Summit County — this is one you won’t want to miss.
See you in the mountain soon...
